Yorke Brewing grass roots started in 1997 when the first of hundreds of small batch beer trials began. From here the long-term goal of building a brewery gained momentum, and over the years the quality of our trials increased, enthusiasm for the business multiplied, and we gained valuable experience.

In the S.A. beer industry we have noted a slow shift in beer drinking palates from some of the mainstream options, to more specific, fuller flavoured beers. This change seems to have also leaned more towards quality, instead of quantity. This is where Yorke Brewing steps into the picture…

Here at Yorke Brewing we believe in producing the very highest quality products, and giving the best in customer service possible. Our marketing and approach to business is fresh and modern, like our youth. And to us, our beer is the heart and soul of our company, which really sets us apart from the others. The production of beer is a complex and wondrous thing, and we know each time ‘brew day’ comes around; it’s going to be a fantastic day!

We don’t want to throw fist fulls of advertising at you to tell you how much you like our products, we would rather let your palate decide. After all, that’s why we chose to make quality beer and not start a marketing firm!!
